One of these days I will be able to travel all over the world to all the wonderful, beautiful and amazing places that I only see in photos or the movies now.
This is a photograph of a place called Piva Canyon in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Who would have ever thought?
Hope you like it too!

This place has no name, it exists only in fantasy! Still it makes you think "Someday" just the same.

Thanks Wayne,
I do love your castle in the air.
If we don't keep our dreams alive then what are we doing?

It would be great to go places that do exist and amazing to go places that don't exist... but why not go somewhere that can't exist?! How about an island that moves around the ocean... the ultimate get away where no one will ever find you! The greatest vacation spot in the world!

My Fantasy Vacations ~ A Time Capsule ~

It's funny how over time your ideas of a great fantasy vacation change.
When I was really young I wanted to spend a couple weeks all alone on
an island with Dawn Wells AKA; Maryann from Gilligan's island.

Posted Image

When I was much older I wanted to spend a couple of weeks all alone
with Heather Locklear at her famous mansion.

Posted Image

Now I'd kind of like to spend a couple of weeks all alone in my very
own custom built bomb shelter.

Then... that's why this discussion is called "Great Fantasy Vacations",
I don't even take vacations anymore... I just fantasize about them ~

Here is a great tropical island getaway. This is one of the islands
in the Mauritius Island Nation. It has the distinction of having
an amazing optical illusion that makes you think that you are
going to fall via an ocean waterfall into???

Enjoy,

Elf cities in fantasy fiction are always portrayed as the most serene and relaxing of all placed on earth. I think would be absolutely fantastic to be able to visit such a place for a little R&R (pun totally intended ;) ).

Not too long ago I got to go on a vacation to the Titusville area of Florida.

I was invited to come for a visit and stay with my friends.

They live right on the water and have their own private pier.

The area around their pier is also occupied by a crane couple and
sometimes Manatees come by the dozens right to the shore line.

The sunsets can be breath taking.

What a treat!
